University Profile

The Universitat Politècnica de València is a prestigious public institution that welcomes more than 40.000 students, Almost 3000 teachers and researchers and 1500 professionals in administration. The UPV offers undergraduate degrees, dual degrees, masters and more than 1800 lifelong learning courses. The UPV has twice received the international Campus of Excellence award and is the only technological university in Spain to feature in all the world university rankings.

We are located at the Mediterránean city of Valencia, which is the third largest city in Spain. Visitors not only can enjoy its beaches; they can also easily walk from the city center which has 2000 years of history to the modern architecture of the Science city. The Chair of Sports got underway 17 years ago, with the main objective to leverage the development of university wellbeing and to use sports to empower the society and the next generations. With a clear vocation for consultancy and sports education, from the Chair of Sports we are involved in many projects, such as the Master Degree in Sports Management, which attracts every year more than 100 students from all over the world. We also offer specific training programs for local and international entities, as well as research projects.
